Are you a maker?

Sell, show or teach with us

UON curate is a secondhand shop with a gallery wall, shelves for handmade work and a sanctuary built for gathering. If you make things here in Howard County or nearby, there's probably a way in for you. Pick the one that fits, then tell us about your work.

Three ways in

Consign your work

Original art for the gallery wall, and handmade goods for the shelves. We price it with you, display it and sell it.

You keep 80%. Original wall-hung work over $400: you keep 90%.

Teach a class

Run a class or workshop in the sanctuary or the classroom at Westwood. Options depend on the space you want, and we're adding more.

Terms depend on the space. Bring the idea and we'll work it out together.

Take a market booth

Sell your own work directly at one of our markets and events, like the Maker Mart.

Outdoor booths are free. Indoor space is occasionally paid, case by case. Booth agreement.

What we look for

A good fit

  • Made by you, by hand
  • Natural materials: wood, wool, cotton, linen, clay, brass
  • Made to last and to be used
  • Local to Howard County and the area around it

Somewhere else

  • Mass-produced or resold new goods
  • Vintage or secondhand stock: see Consign with us

How it works

  1. Tell us about your work. Fill in the form with a few photos or a link, and which way in you're after.
  2. Come see the space. Stop in any day we're open, or we'll set a time to talk it through.
  3. Sign a short, plain agreement. We walk you through yours and you keep a copy.
  4. Send us your branding. Your logo or photo, a short bio and your links, so your listing on our shop page looks like you.
  5. Bring your work in. We set it out, and you hear from us when it sells.
