About us…
UON curate is a forthcoming brick-and-mortar shop and community space developed by UON design in collaboration with Third & Plum Co, focused on thoughtfully sourced secondhand furniture, clothing, and objects.
UON curate will be both a shop and a community space—offering secondhand furniture, home décor, clothing, and creative reuse, alongside classes, shopping nights, pop-ups, and markets. Our focus is on natural materials, craftsmanship, and pieces meant to live many lives, while fostering deeper connections with people and place.
We will be located in the former home of Westwood Antiques & Unique Furnishings — a longtime local destination for distinctive furniture and décor in a historic church building — carrying forward the site’s legacy as a place for objects and stories.
The idea
UON curate grew out of a long-standing interest in material reuse, longevity, and the stories objects carry over time.
Rather than prioritizing volume or trend, the focus is on natural materials, considered sourcing, and creating space for objects to be used, shared, and passed on. The intention is to create a space that feels approachable and lived-in, where people can spend time—whether browsing, learning, or simply being present.
UON design
UON design is a spatial design studio founded by Sarah, rooted in the belief that the most meaningful spaces are built slowly, thoughtfully, and with care. The studio began with a deep attention to how spaces feel—how light moves through a room, how materials age, and how design quietly supports daily life.
Sarah’s work approaches spaces and objects as lived environments rather than static forms. This philosophy shapes UON design, and UON curate is its retail expression—a store for the objects and practices that bring thoughtful, human-centered design into everyday life, grounded in care, reuse, and meaningful living.
